For me the line between focus (sharp) and unsharp(?) needs to be more gradual, looks a little overdone with the abrupt difference. Also crop a little off the top of the photo... and I agree #1 looks a little more natural.

Usually A woman Is Very Pleased To See A Few Wrinkles Disapear,However If it is Over Done It Produces The Reverse Reaction.
That Is why I asked WHO Did The PP??
I Have Had Luck With The Retouching Dept At Millers Lab in Pittsburg Kansas. I Personally Dont Have Time To Run My Business And Sit Down With Photo Shop For Hours Daily. So I Use Both Millers(Portrait Mainly) And a Local Designer( Comercial work)
The Best In the Business Is Jane Conner Ziser janesdigitalart.com I'm Saving Up to Take One of Her Courses In Ormand Florida.Jane Travels As Far Away As Maui To Teach Every Year At The ART INSTITUTE OF MAUI.Great TAX Write off/Vacation/Business Trip.Sounds Good to me!

I did. I am pretty slow at it and went a little too far. Once I get started I have a hard time stopping.

You did just fine.. lol I actually like her eyes better in 2 crisper? Not sure thats the correct terminology I would rather see a portrait without PP though because they do tend to look plastic.. but as a woman please hide the flaws...lol
Your wife is very beautiful.

Thanks! I did keep the eyes sharp. I do this work myself as a hobby.

Thanks for the comment. But, I disagree about cropping more off the top. If there were more cropping I would go for the bottom. I guess I would make the final decision when I decided the print dimension 8X10 or 4X6?

No I meant in the second picture her eyes seemed to pop a little more is that a result of the skin tone changes?
