The Ottawa River is running high and has created standing waves at Bate Island for kayakers.

Could you make the guy go back up river lol

I was wondering if you used high speed rapid (no pun Intended) shots maybe you could catch the kayak in hang. Very cool.. and looks like fun.

I was shooting at 1/4000 sec at f5.6 at 230mm focal length at 3 frames per sec.

It was wicked awesome. I got some more pictures this past weekend at the Level Six Capital Cup 2008 competition.
