Default Leaping Dolphins

I actually have three sequential shots of the dolphins. They are pretty cool.

The image is a little grainy.

I went to seaworld several years ago and since then I have wanted to go back and jump in the pool with the dolphins. I just think that would be so much fun.

As for the shot. It looks a touch soft to me. Is that how it is or is it the compression applied by the site? Other then that, cool shoot.

No, it is soft. I didn't have the focus spot on as I was guessing exactly where the dolphins would be. Also, I was using AF on my Canon and it will try to refocus between shots which annoys me. When I shoot in my studio, I focus and then turn off the AF. There is probably a way to stop the AF without turning it off on the lens barrel...but I haven't figured that one out yet.

But, I wanted to share it anyway. Now that I have seen the show, I would probably nail the focus.

Thanks!

Sounds like a job for AI Servo mode! Very good timing of the shutter on that shot, tho.
