Default The Couple

I had the pleasure of doing the shoots for their wedding. great couple, and easy to photograph. They had a hard time choosing the picture for the reception, so i asked them to give me the numbers of the pictures they liked, and that i would do something to include all of them in the main picture. So i did, and this is the result. They absolutely loved it.

Thanks Soupman, i am glad that it is giving you some ideas. By all means, take and learn from it.

Hey JP, yeah, it is very today, and a lot of couples, and people are really looking for that feel when they look at pictures. They are mostly tired of seeing the latter, the same old stuff we used to see time after time. I enjoy very much sparking up images, and making them pop out much more than what we are used to seeing. This gives photography a whole new meaning to me, and helps me when i am shooting because i am already imagining what i would like it to look like after the shoot and on print.

Nice Idea...letting the couple choose the pictures, but not knowing what "magic" you will perform. Came out great.

Have to be the devils advocate here. the top of the image is blurred but its more than natural selective focus would lend. You did a great job separating the foreground from the background but I bet if you went back and blurred the background less it would look better. Looks good as is, but better is always ... er ... better.. [grin]
