Default Bridal Shoot Last Weekend

Last weekend, there was a get together in San Antonio to practice some Bridal Shots. I've never done Bridals, and really suck at it. But here's one that I thought turned out ok.

I like the pose. A lighter background would be nice, because of her dark hair colour blends into dark background. If it was not a bridal photo, I would dare to remove the freckles from her back with photoshop; they really are distracting.

Nice photo...
Don't know what lens you used, but, a long tele (FOV 200mm) and a large f/stop (f2.8-f/4) would give the close BG a softer effect. Don't know either if you had the room to move that far back? A fast 50 at f/1.4 or f/2 might work too.

give the BG a Softfocus in PS..it will help bring the attention back to the Bride.

BTW...Nice Pose...Could be used as a standard pose at any Weddings you do. The more "standard poses" you have, the less "pose-on-the-run" poses you have to brain storm in a fast moving event.

Great pose.

I agree with the others, the lighting is poor and her separation from the background is not the best. But, I'll bet she likes the photo.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments. I agree with all of them. Like I said, I suck at Bridals. I was just there try and learn a few things. I learned that I have a lot to learn. <G>

I enjoyed myself though. And plan to do some more learning, and more practicing.
