Default The House

The wind blows and the branches sway. Makes me wonder what happened to you back in the day. Your falling apart, crumbling to the ground. Like a lost soul that will never be found. It was a snowy blustery day when I found you, calling to me each day. The white cows in the field ahead knows more than I ever will. January thaw, has brought you new life. The trees are dead, but you are alive. Your flicker in the window called to me in which the air was so cold. Your not alone, I see that now. If only I was a white cow. I could see you in even a better light, instead of seeing you like a thief in the night. As I stare at you, my heart bleeds inside, I wish I could understand more. Your beauty and your life and death called to me, and now a forever piece of my broken heart you will be.

Yes...An old home has a story to tell..but who can hear it...The Wind, The Trees, The old stones by the the door??...

There are many old homes like this in my area of Indiana also..I'm sure they have a story to tell. If we could just hear.

I love old buildings because they have so much character that modern buildings lack.
