Default Frozen Landscape

It was single digits outside and extreemly calm. The snow just settled in on everything!

It appears a little soft and the contrast needs to be pumped. Here is one example

Of course adding sharpness is much more effective with the original image than with a screen shot as I'm working with here.

Cheers,

When I was viewing it full size I tried sharpening but decided it took away some of the softness or delicateness of the trees. However, I agree that in the small size it needs the boost.

Thanks for the comments.

Great photo. Good job getting out in the cold to take it.

The one worry I have going out on cold days is taking my camera from a warm spot to a very cold spot and bringing it back in. I wouldn't want condensation on it. When I know I am going to go out, I leave my camera in its bag in the garage. When I come back I leave the camera in its bag and bring it in the house. That way it warms up or cools off slowly and reduces the chance for condensation inside the camera.
