Arrow Working With Fog

A few days ago there was a some heavy fog and I was lucky enough to have my camera with me. Looking for C/C on shooting images in the fog. This was my first opportunity and any advice for the future would be great.

The picture printed out is actually much much nicier than it appears on this forum.

Great shot, I think. Maybe you should give us advice for shooting in fog!

When going to the web you sometimes need to do a little more to pump the contrast. Play with the contrast a bit, and see if you don't get a better web look that is closer to your print look.
Cheers,

I did try a little before hand, but I thought the first tree's became to black and didnt look very real. But after posting I probably could have touched it a little more.

Great Shot. Maybe if you pumped up the contrast then cropped out the first 2 trees (the ones that went black) it might get it closer to the printed image, if that is what you are looking for.

Great shot...I'd leave the contrast a bit low...in fog, you have low contrast anyway. That's what make the photo interesting...Like you are looking through the fog too. Any other details about the shot...What metering did you use...Multi-Pattern, CWA, Spot (where)...Any EC needed to render the Histogram in good standing...

How did you keep the condensation out of your gear. The one time I was going to try a fog shot I walked outside and the mist started soaking everything.
