Both photos seem fuzzy like they're not in focus. In #1 the softness may be the result of the extreme flare.

It's the sun flare in the first one.. 2nd one.. it's wierd but the handle is very in focus. The various colors in the cement and copper green makes it looks kind of fuzzy.. but if you look in the bottom right.. it is very in focus there too.

Yeah, Im not really sure what happened to mine, once i resized them they are not in focus....i will have to work on that. I really like this one here that you took!!!! it is awesome! I dont see those like that around where i live.

I don't have many of these around me either. This was in Cleveland, OH on a business trip. Luckily my colleagues sleep late when were out of town so I usually sneak off in the mornings and find some good spots before breakfast.
