Smile Lone Bench...

There was a 110 year old working greenhouse that has been torn down for future development ....So I took a bunch photo's before it was demolished...Here is one of them.
What do you think?

No problem...
It looked boring to me too.. But I took it anyway. It was the only bench left after the Company (who had been there for over 60 years) moved to a new location. Kinda reminds me of forgotten relationships over time.

Since its boring.. why dont you try photo shopping in a vibrate red geranium? and maybe tone it more to black and white.. with a fade? I think I have just the right one.. let me look for it.

I would just crop it to be a square photo and soften a touch so that it looks almost dreamy. This might help to add a story of what might have been.

I had the same thought when I first looked at this image.

Not sure how to do that...
The Flower is much bigger and the table does not have enough room above it to place it on the top..
I can cut and and paste it fine as a new selection onto the bench image, and move it where ever I want.....It's resizing the image to be smaller where I loss all the detail.

I'm going to try enlarging the canvus and cloneing the brick wall to add hight to it...
Post in a bit the try.

OK, I just learned how to "Stretch" a selection on an enlarged Canvus...I did not think PSP 10 could do that...I press the "D" and I get handles on all 4 corners and the all 4 center line points..
OK,,No Master here....But trying to add the flowers in front of the table, plus I cropped it square...Don't laugh...Technique used not artistry....yet.

I didn't crop the top very good...but here it is.

This thread has help me learn a new technique...so I thank all of you that helped me with this..I do realize I started with a Bomb!...But I knew that..and you all came through with some suggestions that caused me explore my software and advance in knowledge in technique with it.

Cool I'm glad you tried it.. I know there is a way to get a better crop and I bet rfs could help you with making that easier.
It's not that the photo was a dud just lacked a life of its own.. I like to mark the passing of history too and its hard when there isnt a sign left on the building or something that tells the story. The geranuim in the empty deserted greenhouse sort of tells the story. If the photo doesnt tell a story its only worth something to you and someday you would forget what it was and why you took it.
great first try (leave the little plate on the bottom) i can send the original photo if you need it. let me know
