Default Covered Bridge

I shot this a couple years ago and thought I would throw it up here and see what people think.

it seems a long crop, would by chance the "edited out" part be more of the reflection?

the colors are beautiful but it doesn't look sharp enough, which is more than likley jpg compression instead of your photo.

peacefull image, very nice..

me too, this photo is several years old

Scott, I like your shot. I also have to ask, did you crop out some of the bridges reflection? I think the reflection might have added to the shot.

Bob, I like your shot as well. My only nits are the wires running across the top of the image and a few spots in the sky area on the right side of the image.

Now it's my turn...

The high res is very sharp.

The long edit was to get rid of some other things but there really isnt much of a reflection. This image has had a TON of photoshop work done to it. This was actually shot at about noon in the middle of summer on a day with not a cloud in the sky. That should give you some idea of what I had to do to make it look like this.

I really like the colors and feel of this shot. But I'm a sucker for old looking bridges and "antique" structures.

Here's one of my bridge shots. This was taken from the balcony of the President Clinton presidential library and adult book store.
