Looking for a little feed back on this one. I seem to be loosing detail when resizing this. Anybody know whats the best way to resize and keep detail?

Kirk, I suspect the root of your problem could be multifactorial. You need to make sure you are working in an sRGB color space. If you are working in an Adobe RGB color space you will have a color shift and probably a loss of detail when you save for the web. This same question has been brought up on G1, so you might search there for your answer. Some of the professional guys use a PS add on called WP Pro for resizing and sharpening their images for the web. You can download it over the internet for about $100. I've been pretty pleased with it. Good Luck.

I like her look in the shot but I find the background to be a bit of a distraction. You could fix it up in PS or try to put more distance between your model and the backdrop. Distance would also help you be able to get separation between the black dress and the black backdrop.

Thanks, for the feed back guys.

Hdvannjr - I'm working in sRGB color in CS2. Must be something I'm doing when saving the resized file.

NBK7 - I had voiced my concerns about the distance from the backdrop at the beginning of the shoot. I really would have liked to have at minimum 5 to 6 feet between the model and the backdrop and have used my 70-200 vs. the 17-55. Unfortunately the working space was literally 6 x 5 feet.

The forehead, nose, and right cheek seem to be white hot. Other than that, I like the pose and the expression on her face. Well done.

The blown highlights on the face and the background kill the shot as it is right now.... You might try something like this with it. Kinda go with that hollywood glamour look from the old days. I burned the background down but left a little texture in it.
