I looked over every square inch of the photo and don't see a D300 anywhere!

I think the D300 is a hidden tattoo.

Great photo btw.. Enjoy you new Nikon. I went from a Canon DSLR to an Olympus DSLR for size and weight mostly. So, a new system camera can add some anxiety at first, until you get your work-flow down and customize the controls you can, to suit your way of shooting.

I'm a Canon guy myself, But my brother-in-law is all Nikon. He has had a D100, D200, D2X and just bought the D300 and never shuts up about how it's the best camera on the market. (But what does he know he is a Nikon guy) LOL.

The Canon's are more intuitive to use in my hands than the Nikon, but that's what I'm used to. Nikon has some great factory wide angles, Canon kills in everything else in my opinion. Kind of a Ford vs Chevy thing I guess.
I like some of the D3 features, I just can't justify the cost of switching systems since I use things till they fall apart. (I usually keep a car about ten years.)
