Before anticipation ...

Here is a scene that occurs earlier than the that one shown in my earlier thread called Anticipation. This one is before the anticipation has begun and is in that stage wondering if he will really be showing up.

Like the first, is was shot with the old Canon G1 (3mp). The lighting is from the window and one reflector. I have gone for a much softer look in this one.

Her face looks unnatural... Not the expression, It is kind of looking like a PP thing. Like maybe it was too dark and you tried to bring it up. That is really throwing me off on this one.

I suspect I was trying to deal with one of the strips of sunlight that was across her face like you see across her chest. If I get a chance, I'll try to do an update. I remember doing a layer of powder over the face - so I probably didn't do the final step which is to adjust the opacity to make it look natural (I sometimes get in a hurry).

That could be it... I thought it looked like you used the shadow/highlight tool. Too much of that gives the same kind of result when you are pulling up the shadows.
