Default The Wedding Dress

This has got to be one of my favorite shoots. This one was done superbly. This was also shot during a TTD session with several photographers. She is not a model, she is actually the bride. A client of one of the other photographers that attended the TTD. When the photographer showed her the results of this image, she insisted that she get a copy of it. Needless to say she was one very happy bride.

Her dress looks blown out on my screen. Can you see the details in the dress in the original? I like the composition of the photo and understand how she really liked it.

Good job.

Very nice shot, but her dress also looks blown out. But even then i kinda like it. Bit edgy.

The original image was not like this. But it was a action that i applied that gave it this effect of blown out. It looks good on all my monitors. So i don't know what you mean by way over blown, it prints out great too. So i have no clue there. Maybe the contract is way out of whack on your monitor. Maybe check on it and see, or it could be that all of my monitors are HD, and calibrated weekly? I got no clue, but as long as it prints good, i am happy, and so was the bride.

There were not many details on the dress to start with, plus the dress was all wet. So it was a very cool opportunity to get this shot. Plus it was still a bit cold, s we had to do it fast so that she would not get sick from being in there.

Thanks for the CC everyone.
