Cudos for getting a beautiful model in heels to the location!

I like the background ofthe first photo. The old, weathered boards are great. But there must have been a problem reducing the photo as the shadows on her legs are a shade of green. She looks like she is dreading opening the door. You have pretty good separation from the background though.

In number two, I can't put my finger on what I like and dislike. It seems as though it is over processed...but I like the S curve of her body and the general lines of the photo.

I like number three the best, but her pose seems unnatural. Her black shirt disappears in the background. Again, I like the location.

I think you should take her back and take more photos (I would even if I didn't need to.)

Thanks for posting.

hey! thanks for taking the time to look at my photos and to give me a critique! awesome! i have MANY more photos of that woman from my locational shoot-over 2600! im really into my post processing at the moment, so thats why there are some issues with shadows and the contrast. I like pushing the envelope and trying something new and artsy.
thanks so much for takin a look!

Why on earth would you need to shoot 2600 images in a shoot? In a typical 3 hour shoot I may shoot 150 or so images. I have gone to 5 day workshops and shot 8 models a day and still not shot 2600 images over the whole workshop. My suggestion would be to slow down. You posted 3 very nice shots but if it took 2600 shots to get those 3 then that is a problem.

For the record, I love the 2nd one.

Dont shoot what you see....SEE what you are shooting!

Hi,On Number Two And Three the Lighting And Posing Makes Her look Thiner. On My Screen In Number 3 Her Black Blouse Disapears Into The dark Area of the Background.
Great Background Choice On Number One.However She looks Heavy Compeared To 2 And three. The Claw Position Of The Hand Is A little Akward.I Like The Idea Of Number One but I would Use A different Outfit On Her And Perk Up That Posture,All are Sterling Ideas!
