A few quick things. On the home page, the last paragraph, "out" should be "our".

On the Gallery page, when you point the mouse at the photos, you don't get a hand selector as if its a link, but just an arrow. When you click it is a link, however. This confuses some visitors. Make the text below the photo a link also.

Site is not SEO optimized, so you probably won't score well in search engines for the key phrases that might benefit your site.

The site is simple, and looks fine. Probably needs more text and detail. Search engines like lots of good solid text.

Cheers,
rfs

I like the look of the site. Clean & simple. Your XHTML & CSS are also very clean.

As RFS mentioned, your linked images need to appear as links to the cursor. I'd also suggest that your "editorial" section looks like another glamour section to me. And finally, the "favorite magazines" section seems to hint at your photography being connected to those brands. While you don't state that specifically, why else would they be there other than to give that impression? If you have been published in those magazines, I'd changed the title to reflect that and I'd also change the welcome page to list the specific magazines in which you've been published.

Again, I do like the site design. It's very lightweight yet looks great. Nicely done!

I did not spend the time to optimize the site, nor planning on it. I am not looking for SE traffic, just a place for people to go to if they ask me for my url.

The original thought was to say that we like to shoot in the style of those magazines, without actually saying it. Now that I read your comment, hey, let people think what they want. No where do I say that we are associated with those magazines.

Again, thanks guys.

Interesting web page, I did the same an easy place to send people to review who I am and my basic galleries. I also send models and clients links to proof sets for review.

My comments are along the lines of PhotosbyChuck.

Our photographs have been published in various magazines and websites, and are being used for several commercial advertising campaigns.

A pet peeve is vagueness. I found different things I disliked for various reasons. What the heck does that mean?

In a similar fashion, I'd mention the magazines (if you're allowed to do so) and mention the advertising campaigns (again, if you're allowed to do so).

And when you mention Playboy Maxim and others, I might, if I were you--and I ain't--include some technical magazines to show that you are dedicated to your profession/craft, not simply photographing beautiful women. Perhaps mention some camera or Photoshop magazines to give you some breadth.

I like the look and feel of the site.

What are you using to power the gallery?

I use Gallery2, but I'm not developing a pro site.

Cool Re: Just put up a new website.

I checked it out too...
Very clean and easily manuvered.
Although I expected the gray(grey) topics on the right to be links. But, all in all, nicely done Without Flash -- Bravo !!! (not everyone has a fast Cable Connection (yet)...

Being a MAC user, it was easy to set up. I used iWeb, with one of their standard templates. All the internals were handled by the program, and all I had to do was drop in the text and the pictures. This was such a welcome break from the usual tedious web work I do with Dreamweaver.
