Default Birds, birds, birds ...

Well I thought I might as well post one of my animal photos. So here is a bird photo.

Cheers,

I would have never thought of doing that one in B&W. But I like the texture and the shadows. Good job.

Thanks. The original shot in color struck me as boring, so I thought something like this might be interesting to experiment with. I used CEP 3.0 to convert to B/W.
Cheers,

I agree... B&W is very different for a shot like this and it works in a big way. The textures are awesome. Very nice!

Just so you can get an idea of what I started with, here is the original photo out of the camera:

Great job. At first I thought it was an infra-red conversion.

We had a few geese in the corn field next to the house this winter.

I think the B&W is very cool but I think you may be able to come up with something cool with the color version as well. Could be a good one to play with I think.

At first the B/W version as you explained it was a good choice for B/W and I believed you. But now that you posted the color I think it is equally as impressive. I was not expecting it to be as good. Overall I think they are two great shots. (well one shot)
