BBcode????

ok.. when going to my user "Control Panel" there is a new section about referrals and the link to use... There is a live link posted there.. it might be better if it wasnt a live link, and was just the "text" to be copied and then pasted elsewhere.

Can something be placed there so that people can choose the HTML or the BBcode or just the text?

Most any site will notice that a URL is pasted in the thread and turn it into a hyper link. You don't need BBCode to make the site "see it" as a link. You can right click the link and choose "Copy shortcut" if you'd like to cut and paste it quickly.

Yep you are correct probably 99% of the time... but one site I am on wont allow a url to hyperlink unless it is bbcode for the signature area.

Basically, it's the link you'd email to someone, just copy and paste it, not meant for BB code, you don't email BB code. Thanks, rg sends!
