Default The RSS Feeds

Is there a way to ignore the posts imported from American Photo and other sources? I'd prefer to see only actual posts when I click "New Posts" and remove the stuff by "Head Critic" that's from other sites.

I think that is something RG set up and so he will have to make the decision whether to change the way it works. I agree with your position myself.
But you can probably keep from seeing them by Using the Edit Ignore List in your user control panel.
Cheers,

"Sorry HeadCritic is a moderator/admin and you are not allowed to ignore him or her."

Please? So much clutter...

Gah..."Mark Forums Read" no longer affects the news feeds so I'm forced to read them? I don't have that kind of time. Please....for the love of all that we hold dear...move the news feeds to an account that I can ignore.

It would be nice to be able to read more than more.....

I see no link to read from the source. So it was initially confusing.. and dissappointing to not be able to actually read more..

I hate these feeds because they mess up the New posts display with all of the feeds showing up. If these feeds continue, I would prefer to see them not show up in the New or Today's posts displays because they are very distracting. Maybe we should have a poll to see if people like them or find them annoying. Just my opinion, of course. By the way, here is what it does to the display for New Posts

In yellow are the feeds. Note brand new posts are forced below these. Also note that there are now 2 pages of new posts. Also keep in mind that usually what we want to see is posts that we might respond to. The feeds are not really posts, but just links outside.

Cheers,
rfs

I agree, too. They really need to be handled seperately.
