IR with Pencil/Paint effect

My wife took this with here P/S Sony W120. It was a tad OOF, so I played around with it....I Used a few Art Effects....Pencil Drawing, and IR Film. I also over sharpened to help with whatever edge sharpness I could muster up...The Result....You tell me...

The edited photo is better but I've got to ask a photo 101 question here.

what is it a photo of? Which leads to the real question, why did you spend all that time "saving" the photo if its of a stand of trees??

and honestly, "just messing around" is a legitimate answer. [grin]

and I forgot to say if you go into the edited shot and raise the blacks a bit it would add drama.
