Lightbulb Editorial Coins ....

Here is a shot that clearly could be used editorially.


As an exercise, suggest a title for the shot used for an editorial piece. Then provide your own example of a "money" oriented editorial shot.

Shot was made with a Canon 20D and the Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro. Let's you see how much DOF can affect such a shot.

I like this one. The edge of the coin showing on the image left is a little distracting, I might try to crop that out. But I do like the shot and that 100mm macro is a great lens isnt it?

Yes, I had noticed the edge when I posted the photo, but just hadn't gotten around to cropping. Here is a better crop


And here is another set of shots done with the same lens. This set shows a 1x1.5" section of a circuit board. You can click on the thumbnails to see a larger version. The shots range from f2.8 to f35 to show how much DOF affects each shot.
