Default Telling stories ...

Often an editorial shot will tell a story. It won't need a title or text, but just represents the story. Here is an example of one such photo:


There is little doubt what story goes with this composite or what saying it is intended to invoke.

If you have similar shots, that openly express a well known phrase or make an obvious editorial statement, then why not add them to this thread and make any comments about your own shot or any of the shots that you see in this thread.

You can also use the Thankyou button as a method of expressing your comment about any of the photos.

Hope to see several hundred good shots in this thread.

I'm still on the fence about the selective color. The lighting wasn't great so full color has it's problems, and a B&W conversion has it's problems too. I don't attempt to call myself a PJ.

I think in this case the selective color tells the story. A strictly B&W may well have been just another snapshot image. imho ESS

I tend to agree... In general I think selective color is over used and poorly done by alot of people. In this case I think it works well.
