Looking into the sky ...

I looked into the sky, but I did not see it. Instead, this dome proved to be my vision port and rendered the sky in different tones and subtleties.

Did you wish the light wasnt there. This would be a very cool shot with out that light.

Tes, would have been a lot better without the light fixture. But no way to shoot around it and though I could clone it out, it would take a goodly amount of time. I played with different crops, but they didn't work very well either because then I'd lose the rounded edges which give dimension and geometry to the scene. So I had to go with the tradeoff.

Would you believe this dome is over the bar part of a Pub?

I wouldnt want to PS that out... No way. I cant see a different crop either. The shot works because of those rounded edges. I agree with you completely. Maybe you could ask them to take down the light for a day? Ya, I didnt think so.
