I prefer the 2nd... I may change my opinion if that tree wasnt in the other shot. Nice work

I like the second one two the tree interferes with the line of site.. I also like the clouds the < forces you to look again.

I'd agree in terms of the composition. However, the temple in the second is underexposed. The detail you have in the bright cloud is great -- but it came at the cost of detail in the temple. You might try a masked brightness adjustment to see if you can make the temple pop a bit.
