Default DownTown San Antonio

I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this, but if not, it's close.

I did some night shots with a couple of friends Friday night.
My first time shooting full manual and actually feeling that I understood what
I was doing. And the results were much better.

Down Town San Antonio at Night

Here's one that I particularly liked.

And this one

Night shooting can be fun..The colors and the streaming headlights add dynamics..

Years ago, I had a taken a photo of the Miami Beach Skiline..It was a night shoot. I set the camera to a 15sec exposure and held the Zoom at 28mm for about 1/2 the time, and zoomed to 105 slowly for the remaining 7sec or so. If I can find it, I will scan it and post it. It was for a Photography assignment when I attended the Art Insititute of Ft. Lauderdale back in 1991. Some great effects can had, that are not availble during the day time.

Nice photos.
Added Photo...Old Scanner..Can't upload photos to my gallery (??)..so I added it as an attanchment (very low file size constraints-19kb over 100kb for gallerys)

One of the guys I was shooting with Friday night took a shot like that of the Alamo. It turned out pretty nice. I was trying to get the basics down of night shooting first before I started getting too creative. Next time I'll try some shots like that, and I'm going to take some lights and try some light painting.

Thanks for posting. It's a nice shot.
