We're establishing ShotCritic.com as one of the premiere photography websites to receive constructive, not destructive critiques of your images. As this site grows, we'll obviously take some lessons learned and modify the rules of posting and etiquette to ensure this community exhibits professionalism.
First, let's talk about the rules for posting. If you post and image, anywhere on this site, it's subject to critique. We've got more than one area where you can upload images for FREE! So proper etiquette prefers you post an image with any forum critique or have images in your forum albums or here on this site's galleries.
Currently you can create your own albums and upload your own images on this site via your registration. Once you've registered, simply go to your
control panel (click profile link visible after you join) then under "Networking" in the left-hand side menu, you'll find and click on "
Pictures & Albums." Once there, click on "Add Album" and just load up images!
The rules are simple, post constructive not destructive critiques--exercise common sense! No nudity is allowed on this site, anything beyond implied nudes will be deleted. Anyone is subject to being banned for not using common sense and proper etiquette.
If you post images, they must be your images and cannot violate any person's copyright! This site is based on common sense and the easiest way to be removed from this site and banned is not using your noggin, or lack of common sense!
If you have common sense, then welcome! If you don't, don't join as we shouldn't have to tell you not to flame, slander, illegal activities, etc., we don't want you here if you don't know the difference. Again, membership is free! Join now, just
click this link!
