We are now allowing users the ability to upload attachments, images that is, up to an aggregate total of 2.5MB total for registered users. Our point is not to discourage uploading images in and creating albums, as currently the limit is 100 images per total albums, but encourage another avenue of uploading images.
We will soon have it where we'll display on our forum front a "slideshow" of images loaded for critiques in our critiques forums only, as example, once images start loading you'll see something like this here:

Total allowed of attachments allowed, for all posts, registered users--25MB with max file size 125K, though I recommend no files larger than 100K. Moderators can upload up to 100MB total space. While these size limits may change, we at some point will change upload limits for "a special" group to later be identified. You can also earn more space with credit points! That will come soon!
