In my short experience, the benefit of critiques is immeasurable.
You won't be able to do it on your own most likely.
What really agonized me at first is that they were SO RIGHT about my stuff
...and I improved!
That's why I'm still posting. To see it myself, have it seen, learn from my stuff and yours.
