Thanks. HDR definitely creates "beyond reality" images with more depth of color than the original environment had. A dramatic sky like this could be achieved in camera, but even if you live to 110, you'll probably never see one with your own eyes!

Part of what you are seeing is due to the vignette that surrounds the image. Part of what you are seeing is an effect that could be duplicated by using a polarizer in front of the lens and finding the right angle to the sun.
