1/400, F/9, ISO400 It was a fairly overcast morning. I live along a major migration route that follows the Texas coast. This isn't near as many as we used to have about ten years ago. Residential development has taken a lot of the farmland in the area so the ducks and geese have shifted their main route closer to the coast by 30 to 40 miles. When I was in high school it was typical for me to shoot a couple geese out of my bedroom window before school when we wanted some for dinner that night. I grew up just a little bit country.
