Granted, my experience is very limited. But I've noticed that I find issues with most if not all of my photos. But some of the people I've shot the photos for have thought they were wonderful. And some of the photos I've seen from the huge names like Adams while technically almost perfect have not really jumped out at me.

So, I think that while there are some Major things that will ruin a photo, getting all the minor things right, doesn't make it a great photo.
